As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality educational experience, St. George Catholic School is participating in the Lumen Accreditation process provided by The Catholic University of America. Lumen Accreditation provides pathways for transformation and growth towards our mission through a process that integrates the Church’s rich heritage of academic excellence and Catholic philosophy. An important step in this process is gathering feedback from our community.

As parents, your meaningful insights help us to reflect on our strengths and identify opportunities for growth. By sharing your perspectives, you play an essential role in shaping a strong future for our school.

Each morning volunteers from the 8th grade class assist Mrs. Fontenot in leading the morning assembly. This gives them the opportunity to practice their speaking and presentation skills by standing in front of the 1100 students and staff and leading them in prayer. Today, a second grader, Nora Brooks, also practiced her leadership skills. She explained to the students how to be responsible, our virtue from last quarter, by taking care of the playground equipment.


Our students are amazing and capable of so much!

As we prepare for Grandparent's Day we would like your assistance in helping to make the check-in process quicker for our grandparents and special friends.

Please place children's homeroom information on the invitation and ask grandparents to bring it to Grandparent's Day.

It's time again for us to WELCOME BACK our WONDERFUL GRANDPARENTS to St. George School on Friday, November 7th! Please help us celebrate them by providing a fabulous reception sponsored by our awesome St. George parents. Volunteers are also needed on Grandparent's Day.
