A Message from the Principals of the Day, Jack Weldon and John Russell DeMoss:

Jack Weldon, 2nd grader:
“Being the Principal for the Day was more fun than normal school because it was a special day. My favorite part was going to Top Golf (for a business meeting) and the fire drill. It was exciting to turn the fire alarm on and walk campus to make sure everyone was in line.”

John Russell, 7th grader:
“The best part of being Principal of the Day was going to Top Golf and morning assembly where we got to lead the school in prayer and the pledge.”
Dear St. George Parents,

The Principals’ of the day agenda was packed full of activities. They began by welcoming students in the carpool line, leading the school in virtual morning assembly, running a fire drill, attending St. George Parish weekly staff meeting, business lunch at Top Golf, analyzing playground equipment, and creating communications for parents and students. Principals John Russell and Jack Weldon gave the whole school “Out-Of-Uniform”, handed out popsicles at recess, and wrote Gold Slips.

Everyone enjoyed this special day. If you are interested in your student(s) being the Principal of the Day, you can buy a raffle ticket on the St. George Auction website at

Safety and General Reminders
For the safety of all students and employees, please adhere to the below safety and general reminders:
  • Carpool drivers, please DO NOT pass busses in the bus lane.
  • Carpool Drivers, please do not turn left off Siegen when coming from Perkins to enter the 2nd-5th or 6th-8th carpool line. This blocks the Prek-1st grade line from exiting campus and by-passes the other cars who are waiting in line to enter these carpool lines.
  • Children must stay seated in seats while in the carpool line.
  • Arrive at school on time: School wide morning announcements begin at 7:50. Please arrive at school before 7:45 to allow your child and the teachers enough time to start the day off in prayer with his/her classmates.
  • For the safety of students, faculty, and fellow carpool drivers, please refrain from cell phone use in the carpool line. Please also remain attentive while navigating the carpool line. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
