PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Happy Easter Triduum!

The summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum - from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ's Paschal Mystery.

The liturgical services that take place during the Triduum are:
  • Mass of the Lord's Supper
  • Good Friday of the Lord's Passion
  • Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord

Our St. George 8th graders helped our entire student body prepare for the Easter Triduum by presenting the Living Stations on Wednesday. It was a beautiful display of the Lord’s Passion and we are thankful for all those who helped organize and prepare for this special St. George tradition. Many of our younger students also prepared for this event by making their own Stations of the Cross booklets in Religion class so that they could follow along. Additionally, our 2nd and 3rd graders joined together today to celebrate the Passover meal led by Father Paul.

Our mission at St. George to promote faith development is alive and strong!

Have a blessed Easter.

Mrs. Fontenot
Principal
