PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear St. George Parents,

Friday, April 23rd is the Feast Day of St. George. Our student body started each day this week with a special prayer that asked for St. George “to preserve, through this intercession, our faith from wavering and doubt, so that we may serve Thee with a sincere heart.”

I would like to take a moment to thank all those who serve at St. George so that we can continue to fulfill our Catholic school mission of providing a Christ-centered, family-oriented community, with a history and tradition of excellence. Gospel values are integrated with academics within a progressive curriculum, promoting faith development through liturgy, prayer, and service.

Thank you to our teachers and staff. Thank you to our parents. Thank you to the Home and School Association, Men’s Club, Athletic Association, School Advisory Committee, Finance Committee, grounds crew, cafeteria, maintenance, bus drivers, auction committee, fair committee, and Parish staff.

Your service supports us in:
  • Building a spirit of cooperation among parents, students, faculty, and staff
  • Furthering Gospel values through liturgy, prayer, and service
  • Providing a progressive curriculum that integrates faith and academics
  • Encouraging individual success by challenging the students to create their own positive direction

St. George, pray for us.

Mrs. Fontenot
Principal

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.”  1 Corinthians 12:12
