Looking Ahead to 2026 - 2027 School Year

Spirit Day - Tomorrow, Friday, May 1st

Spirit Day is next Friday, May 1st, and we are ready to have a fun-filled day of special activities. Many of the activities will be outside so the following Spirit Day Dress Code and Guidelines have been created so that everyone stays safe and comfortable.


Dress Code:

Grades PreK-4

  • Girls: Class-color or theme shirts with sleeves, jeans, capris or walking shorts (no shorter than 2 inches above the knee); no legging or legging style pants; any tennis shoe, any sock.
  • Boys: Class color or theme shirts with sleeves, uniform shorts, jeans, or shorts (no shorter than inches above the knee), any tennis shoe, any sock.

Grades 5-8

  • Girls: Class-color or theme shirts with sleeves or 8 th grade class shirt, jeans, capris, PE shorts or walking shorts (no shorter than 2 inches above the knee); no legging or legging style pants; any tennis shoe, any sock.
  • Boys: Class color or theme shirts with sleeves or 8 th grade class shirt, uniform shorts, PE shorts, jeans or shorts (no shorter than 2 inches above the knee) any tennis shoe, any sock.


 Guidelines:

  • In accordance with the St. George Parent/Student Handbook, students may not use cell phones, cameras, video cameras, electronics, etc. at school.
  • Hats may be worn for sun protection.
  • Due to the nature of certain activities and warm temperatures, students may not wear any type of body/face paint/glitter or makeup.
  • Fingernail polish is acceptable.
  • Colored hair spray may be worn for spirit day, however, the hair spray paint cans are NOT allowed on campus. Therefore, hair must be sprayed at home prior to coming to school. Students will not be allowed to wash paint out of their hair during the day.
  •  Accessories that may cause a safety concern must be removed during outside activities. It is the students’ responsibility to keep track of personal belongings.

**Students will call home if these guidelines are not followed and can return to their activities once they are in accordance with the guidelines.


Remember:

  • Turn in all tuition raffle tickets by Friday morning so that your name can be entered into the tuition raffle drawing. The winner will be drawn during the pep rally at the end of the day.
  • All volunteers must check in by the school office and receive a wristband.

Middle School Final Exam Schedule

EBR Transportation Bus Service Registration for 2026-2027

As you prepare for the 2026-27 school year, please ensure that you register for bus service. If you reside on a bus route and will require transportation, you must properly register through East Baton Rouge Parish School Transportation using this form.


EBR Transportation bus registration deadline: Friday, May 22nd.*


*If registered after May 22nd, your registration will not be processed.

All late applicants will have to wait until after Labor Day to be added to the bus route.

No exceptions!


Everyone who registers will receive an email confirmation. Please save your confirmation email as a receipt that you completed the registration. Parents may need to check their Junk or Spam folder for the confirmation email.

SGS Talent Showcase Auditions

1.Read the Talent Showcase Information Sheet to make sure your act complies with the Audition Guidelines.


2.Register for an Audition Time Slot


3.Print and Complete a Talent Showcase Registration Form and turn in to the school office no later than Monday, May 4 at 3:00 pm.


4.You are now set to audition on Friday, May 8 so have fun practicing and preparing your act!


Online Registration will close on Sunday, May 3 OR when all audition slots are filled. So don’t delay, register today!
