May 19, 2022
As we close the school year, I can’t help but remember how drastically different the start of the school year was in comparison to now. We have overcome some major challenges this year and are looking forward to a fresh start next year.

The summer is all about preparing for the new year and we have lots of plans for St. George. We will be doing our typical maintenance of painting and waxing every building and classroom, but we will also be setting up new Chromebook carts for our 2nd and 1st graders. We will be redoing the floors in the cafeteria and giving the middle school a new look with new floors and paint. The gym will be getting new platforms on the bleachers and a few more lights. The outdoor areas between the admin building and the middle school will be renovated as part of our beautification process.

We have already begun working on training our new staff members and orienting our new students who will be attending St. George for the first time.

It will be a busy summer, as always, and we ask that you keep our staff, students, and families in your prayers as we rest, rejuvenate, and prepare for the 22-23 school year.

Have a great summer.

Mrs. Fontenot
