Dragon Tales
A Note from Patti
We just had a wonderful Senior Sessions discussion! For those seniors that haven’t made a session yet, we meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 10 AM in Classroom E. After a time of centering and prayer, we read the upcoming week’s gospel and then a most lively discussion ensues! Today we discussed Jesus’ baptism as told in Luke, chapter 3. As usual, when we start to really dig into a text, we find all sorts of avenues to explore. Many questions arise. Some take us by surprise. Many are challenging. But this is the fun part! This is the beauty of our living scripture! It is SO relevant to our lives today. If you have an hour free on Tuesday, February 12, join us in Classroom E where we will dig a little deeper into a gospel text.
Monday nights are filled with Faith and Fellowship , food and fun for all ages! The $5 meal is always outstanding, the children always have an enjoyable craft time with Arvilla, the choirs will rehearse, the youth will gather and the rest of us will meet in the Fellowship Hall. Next week we are challenged with a video of several noted theologians. The topic will be “Debunking the Rapture.” Sounds interesting! Break bread with us at 6, then stay for the discussion at 6:45!

As we continue our journey into a new year of faith, of Immanuel, God-with-us, may we ponder Incarnation, and let Immanuel live in our hearts and in our day-to-day lives.

Service Scheduling Calendar
Our Service Calendar is now available on our website. Look for the "Quick Links" tab at the bottom. Our system software company says that the linked version is "live" to reflect any changes or swaps. You still need to use the system to change dates, but at least it will reflect in a shared schedule now. That "live" schedule is what we will use for bulletins.
