A Note from Patti
WE ARE STILL CHURCH!!

Albeit, in a different and brand new manner. The best thing we can do is stay in touch with one another. Call each other! Conference calls are fun (and easy enough…I figured it out so it can’t be too hard!) Remember, “When two or three are gathered in my name, I will be there also.”  Now, that is not to say that Jesus won’t be with each of us each day as we say our morning prayers or go about our new routines. I am particularly grateful (put a quarter in the UTO box, Patti) for the nice weather and the birds singing and flowers blooming. It is such a welcome treat!

And there is some exciting news to report!
St. Margaret’s Helping Hands (Jean Clarke, Fran Becker, Arvilla Wubbenhorst, Beth Aruda, Kate Callahan, Susan Roberts, and Julie Keblish, a member of St. Andrews by the Bay ) has been nominated for the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Partner of the Year Award for their work at Broadneck Elementary! Helping Hands works weekly with the children at the school to bolster their learning skills. Our folks have a broad range of experience, and it is truly heart-warming to see that they have found a place to plug in and make a difference. Go Team!! We all have skills, talents and experience we can use to enhance the lives of those around us. In these new days, even a phone chat can be a welcome relief from isolation.

So, look for the videos we’ll be posting, stay in touch and wash your hands please!! Call the office if you need anything. (We will be checking messages.) We will send out updates with any (more!) schedule changes as time goes on.

Be at peace. Remember, it’s not that we won’t have stormy weather; we will. It’s who we turn to to ride out the storm with us. May the God of all peace bless you and keep you. We’ll get through this together!! Now, enjoy this day!!
During this time, it is important to remember our loved ones in our prayers. This week we pray especially for Debbie, Erin, Richard Nathan, Gibbs, Ann, Donna, Gina, Jake, Carol, Audrey, Spencer, Allen, Joe, Iris, Brianna, Luis and those we hold in our hearts.
We pray for those who have died, especially Paul Cullman.

We give you thanks, O Lord, for the assurance that you hear our prayers. We ask all this in you Son's name, Amen.
Services and videos will be posted on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/smcannapolis/
We will be posting morning reflections at 8 AM, an afternoon check in at 2, then a closing reflection at 8 pm. Tune in! Friday night, and be prepared to share. We want to know what you've been up to! Share your pictures and stories with us all!
Church Calendar

All scheduled meetings and programs on campus are cancelled until further notice. We will follow all guidelines of the State of Maryland. We will communicate any changes via Realm, Facebook, and the church website.

A Reminder-Give to UTO this Lent

St. Margaret’s Women’s Guild is sponsoring a collection drive for the Episcopal Church’s United Thank Offering (UTO). . The idea is to put change in the boxes in thanks for every day blessings during Lent. Be conscious of your blessings. Each of us has many each day! We can fill our boxes to overflowing if we really think about it.We will ask all families to bring their full boxes to church in the coming weeks.
