Flagstaff Goes Around the World (almost!)

At Flagstaff, we are committed to prep aring our students to be active members of the global learning community. Over the years, our students have traveled to Spain and Costa Rica and have brought back new perspectives and appreciation of the world we share. The EFTour trips (not Flagstaff-sponsored) are for students 12 years old and up, as well as teachers, staff, and parents.

For travelers enrolled on the 2015 Spain trip, there will be an informational meeting after school on  Wednesday, September 2, 4:30pm in the LMC

While the meeting is not mandatory, it is highly recommended that those enrolled attend. Mrs. Wood will be discussing  items needed to prepare for the trip: passports, spending money, packing list, etc.  Please email any questions to Mrs. Jessica Wood at  jwood@flagstaffacademy.org  ¡ Muchas gracias!

We are excited that one of our STEM teachers, Lori Ledbetter, will be leading a group of students, staff, and parents to the Galápagos Islands during Spring Break 2017.

Charting the Galápagos Islands
Spring Break 2017

The Galápagos Islands are most famous for the profound discoveries of Charles Darwin. Carry on that scientific tradition as you learn about the unique species of birds and other animals that call the islands home...many of which can't be found anywhere else in the world. On mainland Ecuador, experience the local culture in Quito. Independence Plaza and the Intinian Museum provide social context to the biological wonders of this fascinating country.

Come to the first informational meeting about this trip:

When:  September 2, 2015 at 4:10 p.m.
Where:  Mrs. Ledbetter's room (Middle School hallway).

Locking in your reservation now ensures the lowest possible price!
