Hi Parents,

I hope this has been a good week for you. It's been
a great one here at school.

My favorite thing to do here at school is visit classrooms to see all the amazing things happening. Here are some of the highlights from the last couple
of weeks (but certainly not all!):

  • Ms. Wolff's Science Lab: I watched second grade students make constellation cookies - there is no need to tell you that lesson was
    a great success!
  • Ms. Wood using the Aurasma App to engage students in the writing process for her middle school Creative Writing class.
  • Ms. Cook using the Socratic Seminar method with her middle school students to analyze two different types of text.
  • Ms. Gudmundson using centers to teach beginning and ending letter sounds to kindergartners.
  • Ms. Ortiz using songs and games to teach Spanish to fifth graders.
  • Ms. Lockwood modeling her thinking aloud for students learning
    the writing process.
And so much more!! Rest assured, our teachers and staff are doing a great job in the classrooms and we so appreciate their dedication to our students!!

Have an amazing weekend and we'll chat again  next Friday!

Executive Principal
