Update from the Field: Worcester Local Center
Center Catalysts share highlights from a recent Local Center meeting and vision for moving forward.
Pastor Gary Moritz of Twin City Baptist Church
"Eight local pastors and staff from Massachusetts were able to meet up and fellowship at our Local Center Worcester event. It was a time of encouragement and challenge. We had a brief devotional out of 2 Timothy 2:15 pushing each of us to define our destinations within our ministries and to show ourselves to be approved for the work we are gifted to be a part of. We also heard from Pastor Steve Mayo as he explored and gave testimony from his own ministry, Elm Street Community Church, on urban ministry and its need within our communities. It was a great time together and an encouragement to each of us."
Pastor Bob Cote of New Hope Bible Chapel
"The Local Center is slowly becoming an antithesis to the independent mind set. We are beginning to reach across boundaries that will greatly impact disciple making and replicating churches. I see great things ahead as we forge new partnerships to accomplish this task. As we put aside self we foster a Kingdom mindset that moves into coordinated support for total saturation of the gospel. If we stay on course, I expect that we could realize another awakening!"

For a detailed list of all upcoming events near you, visit the Local Centers page on our website. Local Centers are hubs where LCN members can be coached, networked, and resourced on how to become better disciple-making churches.
It is also the place where LCN members network to plant local churches and invite other churches to be a part of the LCN family.
