COVID-19 has affected our entire community and we understand the unprecedented challenges that this pandemic has caused our parents, teachers, and students. Dream in Green has put together a reading list for K-12 students to learn more about the environment!

This guide, includes books in English and Spanish, can be used by teachers and parents alike to bring environmental education into the homes and classrooms.
Give Miami Day - November 19th
Once again we are participating in Give Miami Day, a 24 hour giving campaign, except this year you can donate all week long!

Your gift helps us to continue providing our free environmental education programs to K-12 students and residents of South Florida. In these unprecedented times, we stand together with the school districts in making sure our children continue to receive the best education possible.

DIG Team - Environmental Leader
Gabriela Giro is a junior studying Sustainability and the Environment at Florida International University (FIU) striving to innovate solutions in resource management while conserving them for the future. Through an Ecology of South Florida class, she decided to pursue the BA in Sustainability and the Environment.

Through active volunteering at FIU, Gabriela has advocated for environmental stewardship in her community. For her Fall semester, Gabriela was selected to participate in FIU's Tropical Conservation Institute internship and chose to work with Dream in Green focusing on the Water and Energy Learning and Behavior Program. Through the internship, she hopes to learn about resource consumption in South Florida and incentivize community environmental stewardship.
