Dress Code Policy

Florida Prep follows a hybrid Dress Code Policy which allows students to wear our logoed uniform or the option to wear items from our guidelines below. We partner with Lands’ End for all logoed polos and outerwear as our preferred vender-of-choice.

Polos

If not purchasing from Lands' End, students may purchase polos from any location but they must

be of a solid color with a small logo.

Shirts

As an alternative, students may also wear a solid colored long or short sleeved buttoned-down shirt* (with a pointed collar).

* All colors are acceptable except:

Red (to be worn only by Admissions Ambassadors)

Black (to be worn only by Faculty/Staff)

Skirts and skorts are not part of the dress code and may not be worn.

Pants and Shorts

Pants and shorts colors are as followed: khaki, navy blue or black. Cargo pant styles, leggings, jean styles, and Denim are not acceptable. Shorts should be school cut ( i.e. are long enough that when a student stands with their arms at their side, their shorts extend past the tips of their fingers.)

School shorts and pants may be ordered from Lands’ End; though they will not appear in our catalog.

Formal Wear

All students are required to have two Business Professional outfits suitable for wear at formal and social events. This outfit should also include a pair of dress shoes.

Sneakers are not acceptable.

Outerwear

All jackets, windbreakers, hoodies etc, along with PE t-shirts must be purchased from the Florida Prep catalog on the Lands’ End website.

If you are purchasing from Lands' End, order early for timely arrival!

We accept delivery items directly to Florida Prep from Lands’ End, however, students should have acceptable alternate items to wear if Lands’ End items are returned due to sizing issues.
