Greetings!
Your support through these uncertain times makes a remarkable difference to the resilient women we serve. The stories our women have shared about the sacrifices they are making drives our commitment to do more, to continue innovating, and to invite others on the journey. As we continue to comply with regulations regarding COVID-19, we are suspending styling services at our boutique through April 6. Yesterday was the last day we offered our modified suiting boutique services. However, we are excited to go virtual with our workforce development programming!

Just like you, we are exploring creative ways to continue supporting others. We will continue facilitating Career Center, Professional Women’s Group, and Boss Girl programming, and we are also taking applications for Interviewing for Success and Women2Women Mentoring. You can learn more about all of those programs here:  https://dfscmh.org/client-services/

During this challenging time, we know it can be daunting to navigate available resources. Our community is doing a stellar job providing resources, and we have compiled a list to give you access to those that have come our way. Please  click here  to learn more. If you are aware of additional resources or job postings please send them to us by responding to this message.
We hope you will continue to empower with us when the time is right for you. If you are spending some time getting organized in the coming weeks, here’s how you can help!

  • Empowerment Closet Clean-out - Our women will desperately need our suiting services as we support her goals to seek new employment after April 6. We will need your donations! To keep everyone safe, we are asking that you clean your donations according to care instructions and deliver them to Dress for Success after April 6.

  • Cabinet Organization - Did you know that Dress for Success provides each woman with personal care items? Please consider donating travel-size care products and deliver them to Dress for Success after April 6.

  • USB Flash Drives - Through career development programs, we want to continue to provide a USB flash drive to ensure she always has access to her professional documents. As you organize your files, please consider putting aside your spare flash drives and other professional products to donate.

  • Invest in Her - When we get on the other side of this crisis, our women will need you more than ever. When she walks through that door after April 6, you can make it possible for her to have the support she needs. Please make a financial contribution to make that possible.
