Dried flowers continue to rise in popularity and many of the most suitable flowers are now high up in our bestselling lists. They make a brilliant budget and eco-friendly option; rather than buying flowers flown in from overseas during the winter months, you can have vasefuls of your own long-lasting and low-maintenance, home-dried garden flowers. The simplest way to dry them is to remove the foliage, tie them in small bunches then hang them upside down in a warm, dry and well-ventilated space.
So that you can try for yourself we are offering a free packet of Helichrysum bracteatum, Bright Rose with every order over £10 (excluding P&P) this weekend! Simply use the code DRIED23 at the checkout and a packet will be added to your basket. Offer ends Sunday 19th February.
We asked Layla Robinson, a dried flower expert, for her favourite varieties (you can see her designs on Instagram @laylarobinsondesign). A few of her choices are below but for more of Layla's favourites you can visit our latest news page. For all varieties suitable for drying click HERE
