The 2019 program is now complete. Over the next couple weeks, the contractor will be revisiting this year's segments to seal joints and complete the restoration.
Estimated completion date: Completed

The paving contractor placed the top course of asphalt on Edinborough Lane and Inverness Court on Wednesday and also the base course of asphalt on the second side of Lynwood Drive. By the end of this week, the contractor plans to place the top course of asphalt on Lynwood Drive, Warrington Drive and Warrington Court. Next week,
the restoration sub-contractor will revisit all the streets in the 2019 program to fix damaged lawns and sprinkler systems.
Estimated completion date: November 1, 2019

The contractor has completed the north half of the Industrial Spur Road. The remainder will have to wait until Detroit Edison can relocate the existing power poles. The large 4-sided box culvert was placed and crews have been working to backfill this area. Early next week, the contractor will begin removing and replacing the existing concrete at Novi Road and Crescent Boulevard. This work will take place in two stages. Stage 1 - remove and replace the inside lanes of Crescent Boulevard and temporarily closing the NB Novi Road left turn lane to WB Crescent Boulevard. Stage 2 - reconstruct the outer lanes of Crescent Boulevard and temporarily closing the dedicated SB Novi Road right turn lane to trucks only. This work will take approximately two weeks to complete.
Estimated completion date: November 1, 2019

The contractor has closed Flint Street (gravel portion), from Grand River to Novi Road. A bulk of the earthwork and grading has taken place, but now the contractor is currently stopped until Detroit Edison and associated franchise utilities can relocate their facilities out of the limits of the roadway. The contractor has also completed the underground storm water detention system along the north end of Flint Street.
Estimated completion date: December 1, 2019

The final course of asphalt has recently been placed on Trans-X Drive and fully reopened to normal traffic operations. Today, the contractor will complete the remainder of concrete work on Cabot and Lewis Drives as well as install the next traffic signal detectors at 12 Mile Road. The final course of asphalt is expected to be placed next week. The contractor is developing a schedule to begin reconstruction of the intersection of Donelson and West Oaks Drives.
Estimated completion date: November 1, 2019

The contractor is expected to be complete with the open-cut sections of sanitary sewer, west of Garfield this week. Over the next couple of weeks, the contractor will be upgrading the size and location of the dewatering system in order to better handle the amount of ground water encountered to date. With this upgrade, we expect to see more progress in the coming months on the directional drilling segments west of Beck Road.
Estimated completion date: January 27, 2020
