The RMS Jazz Ensemble spread themselves out on our Music Director's driveway and recorded their very cool version of What Child is This. You may recognize it as the ancient Greensleeves tune, brought up to date. Click here to play.
His time in the U.S. left a deep impression on Antonin Dvorak and inspired many works, including the New World Symphony and his String quartet Opus 96, no. 12 (the "American"). Despite recording in a carport, with masks, and in cold weather, our ensemble hopes Dvorak's sense of American optimism and expansiveness comes through in this recording of the first movement.
