FEBRUARY 2022 | ISSUE 80
All E-PASS toll passes will work on the new I-4 Express lanes, that opened February 26, from west of Kirkman Road (State Road 435) to east of State Road 434 in Central Florida. It is important to note that roadside signage may not always depict all accepted toll passes, but rest assured your E-PASS works on all toll roads, including express lanes, throughout Florida.

Check out the “Where Your E-PASS Works” guide to all the places you can use your E-PASS Sticker, Uni, KnightPass, NolePass, or GatorPass. Find out more at GetEpass.com.
If you’ve ever wished your toll pass blended into your windshield, good news: Uni is now available in black! Now you can drive in style while enjoying nonstop travel on toll roads in 19 states from Florida to Maine and west to Minnesota and you’ll be eligible for volume toll discounts. Plus, you can move it from car to car and even use it to pay for parking at Orlando International Airport!

Purchase Uni online at Amazon, at GoWithUni.com, at the CFX Walk-In Center, in the Reload Lanes, or via the E-PASS app.
Updating Intelligent Transportation Systems for Driver Safety
CFX utilizes Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) throughout the 125-Mile CFX Toll System as part of our mission to ensure driver safety. You may have noticed the new dynamic message signs along the SR 429, 414, 451, 453, 408, 528 and 520 corridors. These 14 LED signs display traffic information and provide safety alerts to travelers in real time.

This month, a new Wrong-Way Driving Detection system location will be installed at the SR 528/SR 436 Interchange. This technology, which has been installed at ramps throughout the CFX system, alerts drivers going the wrong way by flashing beacons, while sending an alarm to the traffic management center.
CFX Opens Solar Field to Power SR 408 Hiawassee Plaza
The Hiawassee Photovoltaic project, one of CFX’s initiatives to increase sustainability throughout its roadways, facilities, and properties, is officially open. The solar field is the size of three football fields and resides in a dry pond east of the SR 408 Hiawassee Plaza. The solar field provides an alternative power source to the plaza and its surrounding buildings.
If you have friends and family flying into Orlando International Airport for a visit, make sure to tell them about Visitor Toll Pass! With Visitor Toll Pass, you always pay the lowest toll rate throughout Florida with no hidden fees or surcharges. Travelers can reserve a Visitor Toll Pass ahead of time or on the spot at the airport using the Visitor Toll Pass app available on Google Play and Apple App stores.
