A Message from our President:
At Vehicles for Change, we serve low-income families and individuals – single mothers and fathers who work low-wage jobs – that are often forced to choose between paying their utility bills and putting food on the table. In the midst of COVID-19, it's even more of an uphill battle... Continue reading (360 words) .

Our Mission at Work
Meet Morgan. She's 27-years-old and a single mother of a beautiful 4-year-old daughter. When Morgan was 16 years old, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis - a long-lasting disease that can affect your brain, spinal cord and the optic nerves in your eyes.

Morgan's had her fair share of challenges over the years - access to safe, RELIABLE transportation being one of them. As a Delaware resident working for a small organic cosmetics brand, she would have to take public transportation or get rides from her mother to get where she needed to go. She did her best to manage, but lack of a vehicle started to cut into her daughter's life because she was often late to school and at risk of losing her enrollment spot.

But, since the time Morgan got a call from Vehicles for Change, things are starting to look a little brighter for her and her family.

Future plans for Morgan? Pursuing her Master's degree and ultimately opening her own nonprofit organization to help other young women who suffer from MS.
Meet Isaac. Isaac is a single father of five-year-old twin boys. Sadly, his beloved wife passed away while giving birth. Since then, Isaac has been hard at work to provide the best for his children, facing a lot of hardship along the away, including losing his own mother this past year.

Isaac was dependent upon public transportation and family/friends to get to work and take his twin boys to doctors appointments, school and to run errands.

Thanks to his newly awarded Subaru, however, once non-essential companies re-open for business, things will be much different for him. In the meantime, he is looking forward to spending more quality time with his children. In the future, he hopes to donate a vehicle of his own to help other families like his!
Your unused or unwanted car, truck or van could be a family's ride out of poverty. Consider donating it to help a VFC family in need!
"20 for 20" Event Postponed
