Increasing Access to Finance for Small Businesses Across Central America
DFC CEO Scott Nathan recently traveled to Honduras, where he joined government officials and businesses to advance private sector-led development in the country and across Central America.
While in country, CEO Nathan showcased DFC’s investment support for Banco Lafise, which is advancing on-lending to small businesses and entrepreneurs in partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development. DFC is working with several additional partners, including the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, to advance economic growth and stability in the country.
Together with the Department of State, DFC hosted a business roundtable focused on supporting companies that are founded by, owned by, or support persons with disabilities, helping advance inclusive development.
Featuring remarks by Congressman Meeks and Senator Warner and in partnership with the African Diaspora Network, DFC hosted an event to educate potential clients on how to access DFC support for their businesses.
