The very first class of digital learning was conducted by OBAT in Kotha Koli Kindergarten School, (a local, private school) for kids outside the camp community in Ukhiya. During the first class of this supplementary course provided by OBAT, our facilitators worked at familiarizing the kids with the tabs. The facilitators also work with the teachers to build their capacity.
We started with 25 students in the host community and will be scaling to more students in other local and Rohingya communities as well.
Our goal is to help build a strong foundation in numeracy and literacy in the children. It is our immense pleasure to be able to serve the local community as well. This program is executed in partnership with Teach the World Foundation (TTWF).
