Greetings!

Happy Holidays! I think this is the first time I'm doing a PGG on Christmas Eve, so Merry Merry to all who Santa may be visiting tonite or tomorrow....

The holiday season can be hard enough, and the dismantling of and/or necessary changes (last minute or otherwise) to our long held traditions can be a difficult one for folks to move through, but there is also much possibility for creativity and expansion if you go with the flow.

No matter what your situation is at the moment, I hope you find the silver linings everywhere and do whatever the little girl or little boy within you needs to feel comfortable and cared for right now. And remember that home is whenever you are most connected with yourself. <3

Today's PGG is a little more personal, as 2021 has been one of the most challenging, (and therefore) productive, healing ones I've had in a while (and I've had some doozy's!) I imagine many of you out there have experienced the same. So many different forces - both benevolent and destructive - are at play pushing humanity to confront some of our deepest shadows in order to transform into something higher and better - evolution is no joke, people!

I recently talked about how loss plays a part in that process and can come in many different forms, many of them positive, but not always easy - like letting go of bad habits, limiting beliefs and outdated personas. This week's PGG essay reflects those themes.

So this in this seemingly not very Christmassy newsletter, I wanted to honor one of the biggest gifts I received this year from my friend Noga, who through her work as an IFS therapist helped me heal a core wound that was life-changing. It was the end of one particular long journey I had been working on forever and the Universe led me back to the same person where I began, and who has helped me in so many ways over the past two decades, like the time in 2013 I mention in the essay. So this missive is filled with gratitude for her and, and a reminder, a gift to myself, of how far I've come since then, and also the past 12 months. Take some time this week to do the same for yourself :)

OH - and I almost forgot! Another gift to myself is that I finally got my PGG book up in a digital format (uhhh it only took me nearly 7 years!) so you should be able to read the PDF of Personal Growth Gab - The BOOK on a variety of digital devices and you can purchase on Amazon here. (Read the IG post about it here).

Since you might have more downtime now, today's PGG Video of the Week is a long form interview with Rick Young about my approach to life, personal growth, communication and more. This week's Instagram post is my silly Holiday Greetings to you and an ode to how sunshine and dancing have been an integral part of my healing. And in today's PGG Vibe of the Week from an artist whose music I used to dance myself through a lot the past two years, Van Morrison's Into the Mystic.

And as a reminder, if any of my weekly essays, coaching, talks, videos or posts have helped you along your career/life journey, here are a few ways you can support my work :)

  • Purchase my book Personal Growth Gab Volume One on Amazon for yourself or as a gift for others. New lower price! (If you are in NYC or want a signed copy, contact me to arrange ;) And the Kindle version is now available!

  • Just tell me! My love language is words of appreciation, so knowing that my time and energy has meant something to you is invaluable <3 Drop me an email and/or write a testimonial I can use to let others know how I might help them.

And as always, please feel free to contact me with any comments about anything.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Kristina
