On Wednesday, 7/31/24 my home was AGAIN struck by lightening!! TWICE in a mere year and ½!!!!!!
The last strike in January of 2023 caused $15,000.00 worth of damage, that, THANK GOD, my homeowners insurance covered.
THIS time not so “lucky.” It caused at least $1500.00 in damage to my TVS, Direct TV service, AND Amanda's DESPERATELY needed DVD'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This expense fell into my “doughnut home” between my homeowners ins. And my home warranty policy which fails to cover TV'S!!!!!!
THAT is a lot of money to me and I worried and worried over HOW was I to pay this UNEXPECTED expense????? DO YOU FEEL ME HERE??????????
I WOKE UP (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!) a few mornings after the strike and I “heard” God whisper ONE WORD to me:
MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I understood God saying to me:

My MONEY problem was inconsequential to OUR MIGHTY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

That VERY DAY, I inquired of my electric power company HOW to apply for their SURGE PROTECTION I had seen often over the 26 years I have lived here. I wanted to get the protection they had offered to cover power surges.
When I called them, they informed me that I had, IN FACT, enrolled IN THEIR PROGRAM AND HAD BEEN PAYING THE $5.95 SINCE 2018!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SMILE!! LONG STORY SHORT!!! I PRAY that Monday I will receive a confirming call that they WILL reimburse me for ALL damages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
