This week, MACo approved and sent a letter to the Maryland Congressional delegation, urging them to consider local effects - those on county government, and other Maryland-specific factors - as they weigh upcoming votes on major federal legislation. With health care, federal budget, tax reform, and infrastructure proposals all on the pending Congressional "docket," there is unprecedented attention on intergovernmental finance effects of these multiple proposals.
