Overdose Awareness Day Events

Sunday, August 25th

Opiate Overdose Response Training
2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Training participants will receive a free dose of Naloxone.

Time of Remembrance
3:00 p.m.

This event will include guest speakers, light refreshments, and a remembrance ceremony.

Job Opening - United Against Opioids AmeriCorps Member

United Way of Greater Lafayette is recruiting a United Against Opioids AmeriCorps Member to work with the local United Way and other community organizations to do the following:
  • Fully understand how both the opioid problem and lack of access to mental health services impacts the community
  • Understand the community's experience of the problem
  • Map community resources systematically and effectively
  • Engage the community as part of the solution

Active Parenting Classes:   A 6-week parenting class for parents with children ages 5-17 offered at Willowstone Family Services.
