WELCOME TO DRUMROLL ... and the beat goes out ...

Here at DrumRoll we have been enjoying a great new book.
No, not the new Harry Potter release,  (although I have to confess I'm looking forward to reading that as well). It's a book that has been doing the rounds and is called
THE RELUCTANT PSYCHIC by Suzan Saxman.
(You can scroll down to read more about Suzan and her NZ tour).

The book has made me think a lot about how many of us are given gifts and talents which we either don't want, don't understand or don't push to full potential,
for whatever reason.

What does it mean when we are gifted a great ability, but without the resources to follow the call? What does it mean when our talent thrusts us into an unwanted spotlight? What does it mean when we don't value our own gifts, yet covet abilities belonging to someone else? What does it mean when we let our own special gifts languish and become dormant due to lack of self belief?

Often the answer is Fear!  Suzan shares that she was  an "outsider" since birth.' However, she directed her talents in a positive way and "learned to listen to all the little voices inside my head, and often to the large beings that existed mostly unseen in our world". Now Suzan has honed her talents and uses them to help people every day.
(You can read more of this Message from Suzan Saxman in the monthly Shekina newsletter which comes out next week. Email [email protected]
to register.)

Our Spotlight highlights another author. NZ's own Sylvia Vowless. The Miracle Effect has been a hit overseas, as well as garnering dedicated followers here at home. If you haven't purchased yet, contact Sylvia direct for your own signed copy.

Challenge for the week:
Look in the mirror and acknowledge your strongest and most innate talent. Challenge yourself to make more of your gift. If you haven't developed your talent at all, then start today. If this is a gift you have been utilising, then do more and stretch further.

Enjoy!
