From the Desk of the Executive Director

As we turn our calendars to a new month, I am happy to say that I think spring is finally here. The sun is shining. The snow has finally disappeared. Trees and grass are coming back to life. Now it's time to get our valley looking its best for the upcoming season. Please take time on Thursday, May 3 to get outside and help with the Earth Day Clean-up.

Just a couple of weeks ago, we hosted our 4th Annual Spring Expo at the Greentree Mall. We were pleased to have 1300 people come out to see over 50 exhibitors showcasing an assortment of products and services. Thank you to the exhibitors, attendees, sponsors, door prize and swag bag donors, and volunteers for your participation! The Chamber looks forward to continuing to build the Spring Expo into a bigger and better event in the coming years.

Up next for the Chamber is the Celebration of Excellence, which we will be hosting in partnership with the Rotary Club of Drumheller and the Town of Drumheller. Plan to join us on Friday, June 15 at the Badlands Community Facility for a night of celebrating businesses, organizations and individuals in our community for their outstanding achievements. Tickets are only $40 and are now on sale.  More information on the event can be fund below. We look forward to seeing you!

Don't forget to start planning your entry in the Canada Day Parade, which will be on Sunday, July 1st at 12:00pm. This year's theme is "The Great Outdoors." We look forward to the celebrations this year and hope you will join us.
