Community Shred Event Proceeds Benefit TLC
Many thanks to our TLC Board President, Rich Schur, for recently hosting a successful Shred Event Schur Success Group - Real Estate, Auction, Fundraising, Asset Appraisal! This community effort provided 230 pounds of non-perishables and more than $700 in cash and checks to support Tri-Lakes Cares in helping our neighbors in need! Haley recently presented him with a certificate of appreciation. Thanks, Rich, for all you do for TLC!!
Oil Change Event Benefits Clients Thanks to Local Businesses
We love partnering with local businesses so that we can better serve our clients! Recently, Christian Brothers Automotive in Monument hosted an oil change event which benefitted 34 clients! They took it one step further and provided attendees with breakfast and lunch. As another added bonus, Rian Snowbarger of Snow Auto Glass provided a discount on chip repair services for seven client vehicles that needed some TLC. The service was top-notch, and our clients were so grateful! If you want to support businesses that help our local community, make sure to visit Christian Brothers Automotive Monument and Snow Auto Glass for your future needs!
Local Youth Learn About Poverty and Homelessness

Tri-Lakes Cares is so grateful to the fifth-grade students of Antelope Trails Elementary! Natalia, Drisha, Kyle, Landon, Hana, and Jordan, you rock! As part of their “Exhibition” project, the students collected and donated over 300 cans of food, weighing almost 400 pounds! They also created a presentation that drew awareness to poverty and homelessness in our country. It takes a community and we're so happy to see these kids getting involved!
