Dear Schechter Families,
We hope you have had a wonderful start to 2023. Our faculty and staff have already begun planning for the 2023-24/5783-84 school year with great excitement. With that in mind, please see the required school forms below that must be submitted by Tuesday, January 31.
NEW JERSEY REQUIRED FORMS (Due Tuesday, January 31)

Private School Transportation Form - The State of New Jersey requires each non-public student to complete a "B6T" Transportation Form. When children do not attend their local public school, some school districts in New Jersey will partially reimburse parents/guardians for transportation costs. Once collected, Schechter will submit the transportation forms to each family's corresponding town. Forms that are not received on time will result in a student being unable to ride the town's public bus (if offered) for the 2023-24 school year or to receive a stipend in lieu of bus service.

The Individual Student Textbook Loan Form - The State of New Jersey requires each public school district to purchase and loan textbooks for nonpublic school students.
The forms have been turned into editable PDFs for ease of use. You are able to download and complete the PDF documents on your computer. To do this:
- First, save the document as a PDF onto your desktop.
- Next, go to the document on the desktop and open it (make sure you are in a PDF editing program and not in the preview screen).
- Once you are finished filling in the document, "save as" on your desktop.

Finally, attach the documents into your email to forms@ssdsbergen.org.
- If you prefer to continue printing the documents and filling them in by hand, you are welcome to do so.
TUITION ASSISTANCE APPLICATIONS (Due Tuesday, January 31)
If you plan to apply for Tuition Assistance, the deadline for applications is January 31, 2023. Apply using our FACTS Tuition Management System. Late applications will not be reviewed until those submitted by January 31 are reviewed and allocations are processed. If you have any questions concerning Tuition Assistance, please reach out to me.
We look forward to welcoming our Kehillah back for the 2023-24 school year! If for some reason your child(ren) will not be returning to Schechter Bergen next year, you will need to notify Mr. Freedman in writing on or before January 31 (for students entering Pre-K - 1st Grade), and on or before February 28 (for students entering 2nd - 8th Grades). Otherwise, in compliance with the continuous re-enrollment contract, you will be financially responsible for the full 2023-24 tuition.
