WHAT IS FAITH????

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I do NOT like doctors or going to ANY doctor!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, doctors ARE a necessity!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!??
Having said this, I believe it is IMPERATIVE to find a doctor or doctors that YOU believe in and feel that YOU can trust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk about FAITH????????????? It takes ENORMOUS faith to allow ANYONE to do surgery on YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are expected to go to a hospital, lie on a gurney, be given an anesthesia to put you to sleep, allow another person to open up YOUR body and “fool around” INSIDE YOUR BODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????? O MY GOD?????????????????????????
Having said all this, my doctor recently prescribed a treatment and medication I earnestly objected to, having done my individual “research.”
I did NOT want to follow his treatment plan and presented my “educated” objection firmly.
I had a robust conversation with him concerning my doubts and fears and his rebuttal convinced me to “WALK BY FAITH.”
My doc is a WONDERFUL, SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIAN whom I grown to greatly love and respect-here is what he replied to my fears.
He said, Not only do I have to “give an account” to you for my treatment but I also have to give an “account to God” on your behalf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Immediately, I called to remembrance one of my FAVORITE Scriptures:
Hebrews 13:17 (KJV)
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
May I also add this nugget:
Romans 14:23 (KJV)
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
“WHATSOEVER IS NOT OF FAITH IS SIN!”
Just a cursory reading of the entire Chapter of Hebrews 11teaches us that the individuals written about ALL MOVED BY FAITH-not tangible sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY BELIEVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now for the meat of this message:

“He that cometh to God must BELIEVE that He IS (GOD)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Beloved, it all comes down to this one simple question:
DO YOU BELIEVE there IS a God and Jesus IS that God AND that God loves YOU, AND that God cares about YOU, and God IS God and has “YO” back!!!????
CAN/DOES God really speak to YOU and can YOU believe that God IS God over YOUR individual life?????????????????????????????
Do YOU really believe that “he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Do YOU believe that God REALLY does HEAR YOUR PRAYERS and REWARD you accordingly??????????????????????????
There is no gray area here!!! The answer is either YES or NO!!!!
IF You TRULY BELIEVE GOD then is is the conclusion to YOUR FAITH!!!!!
Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
When all hope is lost and sight becomes doubt..................................
“IN DUE SEASON WE SHALL REAP, IF WE FAINT NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
