Hi all! We just wanted to check in with a quick update on a few things coming up here at the Duke of Ed! If you have any questions about the Award, the online record book, need some help, or are looking for info, give us a call at 204-988-3016, or email manitoba@dukeofed.org
If you have logged in to your Online Record Book in the last day or so, you may have noticed the "Read Only" message. This means that ORB 2.0 is coming very soon! Keep an eye on your email for instructions on how to log into the new ORB, which will be live on Aug. 29.
In the meantime, just keep track of what you are doing and you will be able to enter in more activity logs after Aug. 29.
New Adventurous Journey Opportunity!

Bronze Participants - We have a new September trip scheduled with Twin River Travel!

This is a canoe trip along the Bird River in Nopiming Park  and runs from Sep. 29-Oct. 1. You will need to miss one day of school on Friday Sept. 29th in order to participate in this trip.

What's different about Adventurous Journeys with Twin River Travel?

-The price of the trip  includes all transportation to and from Winnipeg, food, gear and tents! All you need to bring is your clothes and a sleeping bag!
- The price also includes a Preparation and Training exercise prior to the trip in which you will practice your canoeing skills on the Red River with the expert guides from Twin River Travel. The trip on the Bird River will include your Practice Journey and your Qualifying Journey. 
-No need to travel out of town to start your Adventurous Journey, drop off and pick up for these trips is at the Winnipeg Canoe Kayak Centre at 80 Churchill Drive in Winnipeg.
