TRASH REMINDERS
Dear Neighbors,
We take great pride in the appearance of our community, but lately, we have received an increasing number of complaints regarding trash management. Specifically, loose debris is being scattered throughout the neighborhood on windy days, and bins are frequently being left in plain view for extended periods.
To keep our streets clean and maintain a beautiful neighborhood, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
1. Secure Your Trash on Windy Days
High winds can easily overturn bins or blow loose items out of open containers.
-
Bag Everything: Ensure all trash is bagged and tied securely before placing it in the bin. Avoid placing loose paper or plastic on top.
-
Lids Closed: Keep bin lids fully closed. If your bin is overflowing, please hold the extra trash until the next cycle or take it to a local disposal center.
-
Weight it Down: If you have a light recycling bin, consider placing a heavier item on top to prevent it from tipping.
2. Timely Bin Placement & Retrieval
Per our HOA bylaws, trash and recycling bins should only be visible on collection days.
-
Placement: Bins should be placed out the evening before pickup.
-
Storage: Please move bins out of public view (in your garage or behind a screened area) after trash has been picked up.
3. Help Your Neighbors
If you see a neighbor’s bin has blown over or a few pieces of litter have escaped, please consider lending a hand. A little extra effort goes a long way in keeping our neighborhood beautiful for everyone.
