2025 Annual Report Highlights

As we look toward 2026, our mission remains strong: to build stronger families, empower communities, and create generational change. Thanks to the dedication of our staff, board of directors, volunteers, and community partners, Dumas Wesley deployed 77,129 direct services to our neighbors in need last year. The scale of service reflects both the need in our community and the strength of our partnerships that make this work possible.

Transitional Housing Programs: Our work isn’t a temporary fix—it’s a generational solution—one that rebuilds lives, restores hope, and reclaims dignity!

The Sybil Smith Family Village and the Baldwin Family Village provide transitional housing to women and children experiencing homelessness. In addition to safe housing, residents have access to wraparound services like mental health counseling, job readiness, parenting classes, and financial literacy. Our programs are tailored to individual needs—because equity is not giving everyone the same thing, but ensuring everyone has what they need to thrive. From transitional housing to workforce readiness, we level the playing field for those starting behind. With a less than 2% return to homelessness in 26 years, our model works—and its impact lasts. Attendees heard from a dynamic lineup of speakers who shared insights on leadership, service, and purpose. We’re excited to carry these ideas forward as we serve our community.
