Buchner Grand Opening
As part of the City's year-long 125th Anniversary Celebrations, join us for the Grand Opening of the Buchner Park Community Pool & Building on Saturday, June 12.

Entrance and slides are free all day until the pool closes at 8pm!

  • Noon-12:15pm: Ribbon Cutting
  • 12:30pm: Throwback Swimsuit Competition
  • 12:30- 2pm- Dunk Tank, Duck Races, Street Curling
  • 12:45pm: Diving Competition
  • 1:15pm: Basketball Trickshot Competition

Make a day of it and register for the Buchnerfest Children's festival in the morning and then head over to the pool for the Grand Opening!

Riverside Rhythms
Riverside Rhythms kick-offs the summer season with a special 125th Anniversary edition on Wed., June 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m! New this year, the event will take place on Riverfront Street, under the Historic Bus Depot in Downtown Waukesha.

On June 16, head downtown to Riverfront Street for the music of Dean Richard, food and coffee from Mama D’s, giveaways and more to celebrate the City’s 125th Anniversary.


Riverside Rhythms continues every Wed., June 16 through Aug. 25, 11:30 a.m. to -1:00 p.m. and features a variety of music and food selections.
Police Department Construction
Starting Monday, June 13, the Police Department Building (1901 Delafield Street) will be closed to the public while the building is undergoing renovations.

The Building is expected re-open in Spring of 2022. You can read more about the project here.

While the building is closed, the Police Department is still ready to assist you. You can find many of their services and information online or you can call the non-emergency line at 262-524-3770.
Monday Night at the Movies
The first Movie in the Park featuring.... Aladdin is coming up on Monday, June 21.

As part of the City's 125th Anniversary this summer we are featuring throwback films.
 
The movies take place in Cutler Park starting at 7:15pm. Pre-movie activities start at 6pm.

Movies are presented by First Federal Bank.

The Fit in the Park series starts this Thursday, June 10. Participate in FREE fitness classes in the park. All abilities are welcome.
