Welcome to the first Dunstan News for 2018. We don't email often so that when we do, you get the full update and we've certainly kicked the year off with a bang.

We have some great events coming up, if you didn't book early for the public lecture by Nobel Prize Winner Professor Muhammad Yunus at Flinders University - sorry but it's booked out. The good news is you can still come and watch from outside and there are still a few spots left at our Australasian Social Business Forum. More details below.

You'll find below an update on the Adelaide Zero Project and our efforts to end street homelessness.

We hope to see you at AdMental, returning again this year, where Adelaide's leading ad agencies battle it out Gruen style to figure out how you sell mental wellbeing.

We've also booked in our second Dunstan Film Club where for every ticket we sell, we'll pay it forward and give a ticket to someone from a disadvantaged background. We're screening Black Panther with Reconciliation SA.

We've also included an update on some great reads and what else is going on around town.

If you like what you see, we hope you will consider attending, joining, donating, partnering, volunteering and help us inspire action for a fairer world.

As always we value your feedback on what we are doing so please get in touch!

Explored in his new book, 'A World of Three Zeroes: The New Economics of Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, and Zero Net Carbon Emissions' - we will explore how we can make the three Zero's are possible here in South Australia. His book will be on sale at all public events.

Election campaigns are usually times when political parties talk about their differences. This campaign we managed to get all the candidates for the state electorate of Adelaide, as well as representatives of their parties, to come together to express their support for the Adelaide Zero Project. At this event we launched the Implementation Plan for our goal to functionally end rough sleeping in the inner city within two years.

The Adelaide Zero Project has been a collaborative effort since its inception and the development and delivery of this Implementation Plan continued this effort.  We'd like to acknowledge the unified and dedicated efforts of all the  partners  in this project.

You can find a copy of the Plan, the fact sheet summary and the press release HERE.

We hope you will consider getting involved.

Can you help us with a five minute survey?
