TRENDS ARE EVOLVING
From White to Soft-White Painted Cabinetry
Over the last 10 years, there has been a major resurgence in bright white, painted kitchen cabinetry.

Homeowners are still in love with white painted cabinetry but design preferences are beginning to shift toward tonal, soft-white painted finishes.

The classic and iconic look of white painted cabinetry will always be a favorite, but preferences are beginning to evolve toward off-white or soft-white, or natural-white paints with colors like Dove, Linen White, Putty, Canvas, Pearl, Silver Mist, and Mushroom.

TREND STUDY
Mirrored Cabinets Offer the Look of Glass with Concealed Storage
Dura Supreme Cabinetry bathroom design by KSI Kitchen & Bath, Michigan featuring the Reese door style in "Smoke" stain on Cherry with a Beveled Mirror insert.
Mirrors have been used as a decorative accent in home interiors for a long time, however, incorporating the reflectivity and airy look of a mirror within cabinetry is an emerging trend. Mirror used within cabinetry doors (behind mullions or simply in place of a glass door) is another wonderful way to add light and reflectivity within a kitchen or bathroom.

Designers and homeowners love the look of glass doors and mullion doors, but keeping dishware neat and tidy while they are displayed behind glass can become a chore. Mirror (available in standard mirror, beveled, vintage, bronze and gray) offers the decorative and reflective look of glass but without revealing the cabinet interiors. It can be a very elegant option to consider within your design.

Mirror also adds a reflective quality and can make a room feel lighter and brighter and even more expansive.
