Turn Up the Heat!
Is it hot enough for you this summer?!?!?!? As record temperatures continue to suffocate much of the country, DuraVent’s integration with Hart & Cooley has heated up as well. We have begun to consolidate production locations, enhanced a number of product offerings, and are pulling together business processes that will make us a manufacturer that is even easier to do business with.

One step toward creating a single, seamless organization was the debut of our new companywide branding and email addresses. While legacy email addresses will continue to function, the transition to a unified @duraventgroup.com address for all employees was a big step forward in our “one team” mindset. At the end of this letter, you will see the updated email addresses for each of our Customer Service teams. I encourage you to use this new contact information for order processing, status updates, and all other order-specific communications.

This summer also included the return of the MOSTRA International HVAC trade show in Italy. Our OEM Sales Manager, Jay White, and I traveled to Milan to see people face-to-face for the first time in three years. It was amazing to see how the challenges that the world has faced since the last version of this trade show have impacted product development and innovation. Indoor air quality, filtration, and overall building health products dominated the show floor and were present in nearly every booth. Manufacturers also boasted about localized supply chains to support faster and more reliable deliveries. The speed at which the industry’s innovation is occurring is amazing!

I hope each of you, our business partners and customers, enjoy what’s left of the summer, and are looking forward to the transition back to school, the fall, and, most importantly, football season! We appreciate your partnership and are excited about a successful second half of 2022.

Sincerely,
Scott K. Smith

Why Does Powder Coating Look so Much Better?

What do you do when your commercial exterior venting does not truly complement the ambiance of the structure? How do we make a regular stainless steel exterior vent match the aesthetic of the building? The answer? Factory-applied powder coat paint utilizing Sherwin-Williams Powdura® RAL Series, a super durable polyester powder coating. Sherwin-Williams is a global leader in coating materials and the Powdura powder coat formulation is designed for superior weather durability, color retention, and environmental wear and tear.

Factory-applied powder coat paint and process requires the component outer-wall material to be aluminized steel for proper paint adhesion with 304 and 316 stainless steel. A proprietary multi-stage paint process is utilized, which consists of component surface preparation and cleaning, powder coating, curing, and finally, quality inspection.

Want to know more? Contact your commercial venting sales representative for additional information. A custom factory-painted outer wall can help create an inviting interior or exterior space. Leave a lasting impression with Duravent Group's exclusive powder coat, allowing you to match any building façade and impress even the most discerning visitors.

  • It allows for architectural “blending” of structure to exterior ambiance
