The Chamber has an ongoing association with Durham College and as such we will continue to share opportunities with our members.

On behalf of Durham College, Faculty of Business, I am thrilled to announce that tickets are now available for the long-awaited business conference, Emerging Stronger Together: Strategies for Business Resilience and Success, on Thursday, March 23, 3-9 p.m. Hosted at Durham College 2000 Simcoe St. N Oshawa, Centre for Collaborative Education (CFCE).
Since forming our successful partnership, this is the first opportunity to invite all members to gather in person. This conference will bring together students, faculty, college administrators and members of the local business community for an evening of education and collaboration.
The event will include;
- Educational workshops
- Fine dining
- Networking activities- including Employment Services, Corporate Training Services, Applied Research Opportunities etc.
- Express Spa services

I am reaching out to request that you encourage your members to attend. We would love to see 10-12 members of each COC/BOT at the conference. The individual ticket cost is $150.00 and tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite. However, as a thank you to our valued partners, we would like to offer your organizations an opportunity to purchase a full table (seats 10) for only $1200.00, saving $30/person. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please respond to me via email to reserve the purchase of your table by Friday, March 10, 2023.

We can discuss group registration options and, depending on the course(s), the potential to schedule tailored dates and times that fit your employees’ schedules.
