Churches today simply must be prepared for a variety of threats and crisis situations, such as medical emergencies, domestic violence, child care protection, sexual abuse, disruptive or violent visitors, theft, embezzlement, etc. What do you do? During this 8 hour training, participants will learn about violence in the workplace, schools, and places of worship. They will learn about the importance of developing a safety and security policy and a child protection policy. They will be able to recognize high risk areas, sexual misconduct, liability issues, and the importance of background screening for employees and volunteers. Students will learn about the need for a security assessment checklist that includes persons and property protection, financial and office staff protection, transportation protection and mission team protection. We will offer a sensible response to an active shooter and address the aftermath of a critical incident and the importance of working with the media after an event.

and review written examples of a
n overall Safety and Security Plan, A Child Protection Policy, A Safety and Security Ministry Team Policy, A Medical Emergency Response Policy, A Natural Disaster Policy, A Mission Trip Policy, A Crisis Communications Policy, A Safety and Security Policy for Affiliated Daycare and School, Child Field Trip Policy, An Aftermath Policy... etc.
