Alabama-West Florida Annual Conference 2026

The Alabama-West Florida 2026 Annual Conference at the historic First United Methodist Church in Pensacola was a wonderful time of celebration, fellowship, and kingdom work. The theme, “Empowered by the Spirit” was evident in Business Sessions, Worship Services, and everything in between.

At the Monday Business Session, Ashland Place was awarded one of 37 Food Ministry Grants for $1000.

Our very own Rev. Jennifer Porto was Commissioned as a Provisional Elder in the Alabama-West Florida Conference at the Commissioning and Ordination Service on Monday evening and Tripp Gulledge was ordained as a Full Elder. Congratulations to Jennifer and Tripp on these incredible milestones!

For this coming Sunday's bulletin...

CAN I GET A WITNESS???

Join us this Sunday, June 14 for another gathering of "One Room Sunday School" to continue our conversations in pursuit of greater understanding, truth and reconciliation. All are welcome to the Fellowship Parlor at 10:00am.

We are partnering with the QuadW Outreach Ministry this summer! Every Monday from June 22 until July 20, we will provide dinners for the six QuadW summer interns doing mission work in Mobile. June 22, July 6, and July 13 are still open for individuals, groups, and/or Sunday School classes to sign up to participate. The meals may be delivered to their housing site at 5:30 p.m. on those Mondays or you may host a meal in your home. Please contact Rev. Jennifer if you are interested in participating.

This summer, children who have completed 3rd–5th grade are invited to an unforgettable week at Blue Lake’s "Camp Blast!" The camp dates are July 20–24 and will include days packed with fun, faith, and friendship. From swimming and gaga ball to lakeside devotions and creative crafts, our children will have the opportunity to draw closer to God, learn more about God's love, and encourage one another in their faith. More details about the trip will be shared in the coming weeks!

Think your child would love this adventure? Sign up using the link below, and be sure to let Pastors Darren and Jennifer know once you have registered!
