Watch E-470 Now: 2019 Winter Edition
ROAD UPDATES
Our next E-470 Road Widening Project breaks ground this summer 2019! Project features include the addition of a third lane in each direction on an 8-mile stretch of the road between I-70 and Quincy Avenue, as well as the relocation of E-470 ramps at Quincy in order to improve travel at the Quincy Avenue and Gun Club Road intersection.

Save the Date! We are  hosting a Road Widening Project Public Open House at the E-470 Administrative Building in Aurora. Join us on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. to learn more about the construction features.
TRANSPORTATION NEWS
CDOT's Central 70 Project is  scheduled to continue through 2020. The project will reconstruct a 10-mile segment of I-70 between Brighton Boulevard and Chambers Road to improve the aging infrastructure for the area's communities, businesses, and Denver International Airport travelers. One enhancement includes the construction of 4-acre community park over a portion of the lowered interstate
IN THE COMMUNITY
Calling all Colorado nonprofit organizations! The E-470 Transportation Safety Foundation (TSF)  is now accepting applications for its 2019 Transportation Safety Grant program. The nonprofit foundation raises funds separately from E-470 to support transportation safety and education in the community.  Applications  are due Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.  Apply for a grant.

The E-470 Transportation Safety Foundation is also awarding $200 grants to Colorado high schools hosting After Prom events this spring. After Prom is a safe alternative for high school students to mitigate the risks of participating in unsafe activities and driving behavior.
