E-Alert – September 24th, 2021

The MDA stands together with all healthcare providers with special mention for those working on the front lines in the fight to save lives during this difficult time.

The MDA regulates dentistry and dental assisting in Manitoba in the public interest. As such, we fully support Manitoba Heath and current public health measures taken for combatting COVID-19 pandemic including, but not limited to mandatory indoor masking, physical distancing, and vaccines among others.

Vaccination continues to be an effective preventative tool for all Manitobans in the fight on COVID-19, including against the alpha and delta variants of concern. The MDA strongly recommends vaccination against COVID-19 for all dentists and dental assistants.
