Some of you know Joey Centofanti, if not by name, by sight. Joey has been a part of the GSP community for five years or so. He is a regular participant in our Primavera cooking ministry and helps out at the pantry. He is an actor by trade and has been in and out of work during this time. Recently, he has lost his place of residence due to circumstances beyond his control. He needs a place to stay for approximately 90 days. His next work begins in October and he will relocate then. If you have a small area where Joey may be able to stay, or know of another possibility, could you please advise our parish administrator, Pam Spears, at the office. Thanks.
Grace St. Paul's is listed 1st on the City of Tucson's Summer Cooling Center Locations. In the event that Tucson has an Extreme Heat Index day, people can come to GSP and find some relief from the heat, noon to 4:00 p.m. We need a volunteer for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons to sit in McBride Hall as people rest. You will only be needed if there is an Extreme Heat Index day which is announced on the local news. Please contact Pam in the office if you can volunteer. You can also speak with Margie King for more information.
