PozCafe, TIHAN's monthly lunch for people living with HIV, is an opportunity for the community to get out of the house, meet other positive+ people, and enjoy a great meal! On the third Thursday of each month, volunteers from local faith communities around Tucson get together to serve a fantastic and delicious lunch followed by time to socialize, participate in a game of bingo, enjoy our raffle, and pick up a care package.

Grace St. Paul's is sponsoring November's PozCafe, and we are collecting hand sanitizer (travel size) and bar soap. Items can be dropped off during normal office hours or given directly to Ricky on Sunday.
Deadline for dropoff is Monday 11/17.

PozCafe will be held at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church on
Thursday November 20th from 9am-2pm.

We meet in the Bloom Room on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 12-1; please plan to arrive and settle in at 11:55 as we begin with prayer and a period of silence. You are most welcome to join us and/or ask to be placed on our email list. For more information,

Bethlehem Olivewood Sale to Benefit Joseph’s Pantry

On Sunday November 23rd and 30th, we will have a Christmas Market in McBride Hall after each service to benefit Joseph’s Pantry.

Lance and Nancy Brown had figures, creches, Christmas ornaments, cashmere pashminas, and other beautiful items shipped to Tucson following their recent trip to Bethlehem. The purchase of these items specifically benefited the Palestinian Christian community in Bethlehem during a time when their livelihoods are directly threatened by the war in Gaza.

Please come do some Christmas shopping for family and friends while supporting Grace St. Paul’s efforts to serve the unhoused and those for whom food insecurity is an everyday threat.

ALL PROCEEDS will go directly to GSP!

November 13th: Zoom service led by Kim Braun on “Enchantments: Lessons from Nature” (Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/948146775)

November 20th: Communion service led by Father Allen, held in McBride Hall.

November 27th: NO SERVICE (THANKSGIVING)

If you’d like to receive announcements regarding Spirit Now’s services direct to your email, please contact Kim at moanatucson@gmail.com.

Every Friday from 12:15pm - 1:30pm in the Bloom Room

Our Centering Prayer group continues to meet every Friday at 12:15 in the Bloom Room for the shared practice of Centering Prayer. Our membership includes people from other faith traditions as well as many GSP parishioners.

The practice of Centering Prayer can be done alone by anyone anywhere, but our members find that being together (even in silence) really makes a difference. Our group is open to all who are in need of some quiet, dedicated time to rest in the presence of God in this busy and uneasy world.

Blessings,
