This Sunday, April 19th the Bishop will be joining the GSP congregation in worship so please invite everyone!

Here are a few things to be aware of.

  1. REMINDER: We will NOT be having a 7:45am service.
We look forward to seeing you at 10am!

  2. The Bishop will be holding an "Ask the Bishop" session after the 10am service in McBride Hall for all. Please also remember this is a potluck. Please bring a dish to share.

  3. Those being Confirmed and Received, along with the Senior and Junior Warden, please meet with the Bishop and Fr. Steve+ in the Bloom Room promptly at 9am to go over choreography and to speak with Bishop Jennifer.

Let's show the Bishop what GSP is all about!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Barby Goldschmid's passing on 1/10/26 and her husband Chuck Goldschmid's passing
on 3/31/26. They both died peacefully in Tucson, Arizona.

They were both parishioners and volunteers at Grace St. Paul over the last 20 years and there will be a ZOOM Memorial Service that will take place for them both on Saturday, May 2nd at 10 am Arizona time. The ZOOM link is below:

Join your Grace St. Paul's friends and fellow parishioners for a ballgame at Hi Corbett Park, Saturday May 9th, 6pm game time, UofA vs Univ of Houston. This is the last home series of the season. We're not doing the pre-game gathering like last year (the picnic ramada is not reservable), but we will secure a group of seats together and just enjoy cheering on the Wildcats.

Group tix are $6pp -- the ultimate cheap date!

One of Grace St. Paul’s deep commitments is Migrant Ministry;
welcoming and supporting migrants, and advocating for their human and civil rights. We are called to be a compassionate and welcoming faith community.

Everyone is welcome at our weekly Monday meetings, which are held from 2:00 to 3:30 pm in the Bloom Room. Through education, advocacy, prayer, collaboration with community groups, and by direct support, we promote social justice in our border region.

Migrant Stories through book and film

Join us monthly as we explore the personal stories of individuals in our community, deepening our compassion and knowledge.

Upcoming:
'Water In The Desert' April 27th from 2-3pm in the Bloom Room
Book talk with author Jim Burklo (See flyer below)

‘Undeterred’ May 8th from 6-8pm in McBride Hall

We are looking for interested people to serve on a Building & Grounds committee. We will meet once a month on a Saturday and walk the campus to determine and prioritize what needs to be addressed as our facility continues to age. This would not require a lot of someone's time, but rather their input. Our goal would be to leave the church in better shape than how we found it.

If you are interested in getting involved please reach out to

Dr. Chuck Dickson explains why Grace St. Paul's Julian Chapel is named after the anchoress, mystic, and theologian, Julian of Norwich, and why she is honored by the Church in his latest Virtual Adult Ed. class:  https://bit.ly/3OwUQOn

The mission of GSP Faith in Action is to offer personal and spiritual support for those of us who are struggling in the current political climate and to encourage faith-filled and appropriate actions as individuals and in collaboration with other groups. We will meet in the Bloom Room on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 11:45-12:45 (note time change); please plan to arrive and settle in at 11:40 as we begin with prayer and a period of silence. At the 4/26 meeting, Margie King will bring us up to speed on migrant ministries. You are most welcome to join us and/or ask to be placed on our email list.

You are most welcome to join us and/or ask to be placed on our email list.

-Thursday, April 23rd, 5pm, by Zoom-only, Chris Eastoe leading a service from Tasmania on the theme “New Life: Seeking God’s will as a mystic”

(zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/948146775).

-Thursday, April 30th, 5pm, in McBride Hall, Communion service led by Father Allen.

We’ve heard from church members that they’d like a smaller venue – Spirit Now’s answering that call … our services are held in the Chancel, in McBride Hall, or on Zoom, and are building blocks for the larger church to get together and share faith practices in smaller groups. It’s a more intimate place to read and reflect about our thoughts, our church, our communities, and our world.

If you’d like to receive announcements regarding Spirit Now’s services direct to your email, please contact Kim at moanatucson@gmail.com

Every Friday from 12:15pm - 1:30pm in the Bloom Room

Our Centering Prayer group continues to meet every Friday at 12:15 in the Bloom Room for the shared practice of Centering Prayer. Our membership includes people from other faith traditions as well as many GSP parishioners.

The practice of Centering Prayer can be done alone by anyone anywhere, but our members find that being together (even in silence) really makes a difference. Our group is open to all who are in need of some quiet, dedicated time to rest in the presence of God in this busy and uneasy world.

Blessings,
