The 2021 Catholic Stewardship Appeal, We Are Many Hands. One Vision was launched throughout the Archdiocese last weekend. Fittingly enough, on Monday we received the final report for the 2020 CSA. The cover letter announced that the Archdiocese had surpassed its goal “in part due to several unexpected bequests,” noting that the number of individual donors had actually decreased by 1,678 from the previous year. Alpha is a place to explore the Christian faith with others. It’s a series of conversations focused on exploring life, faith, and meaning. Through small groups, participants have the opportunity to connect with others, share perspectives, and experience the love of God. You are most welcome to join us! This is also a perfect opportunity to bring along a friend or family member who may be questioning their faith – invite them to join you! Alpha starts on February 21, and will meet Sundays from 7:30-8:30pm on Zoom. There’s no homework, and no cost! The Kick-Off Rally for the Spring (Lent) 40 Days for Life-Sheboygan campaign is Sunday, February 14, at 1 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 833 Center Avenue, Sheboygan. Sue Thayer, Director of Outreach for 40 DFL, will be guest speaker. Sue is a former Planned Parenthood manager. Plan to join us and hear her conversion story. 40 Days for Life is a grass roots peaceful, prayerful vigil outside an abortion facility praying for an end to abortion. The 12-hour per day, 40-day campaign starts February 17 (Ash Wednesday) and goes through March 28 (Palm Sunday) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m daily.
