(1/9) Non-Recyclable Plastic Reduction Bylaw Forum, 7 pm., at the Unitarian Church's Union Hall, 80 Main St., Hudson. At Hudson's May Town Meeting, Green Hudson plans to present a bylaw, geared toward eliminating foam polystyrene (Styrofoam), black solid polystyrene, and non-recyclable plastic utensils, all forms of plastic that are not biodegradable, compostable, or recyclable in the Town of Hudson. If passed, this will affect a handful of Hudson businesses in the food industry. For more info about the forum, go HERE! (1/25) Symphony Pro Musica Concert highlights Turbulent Landscapes by Scottish American female composer Thea Musgrave, and Elgar's Enigma Variations. The January 25th concert is at 7:30 pm. at the Skip Johnson Aud (HHS). An encore performance is on 1/26, at 3 pm., at the St. John's School in Shrewsbury. Tickets available at the door or HERE!
Volunteers Wanted. The Hudson Mobile Food Pantry, a joint project between Open Table and the Hudson Health Dept., seeks volunteers to help distribute food to the Norma Oliver Village, Brigham Circle, and Peter's Grove on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, between 3 and 4:30 pm. Volunteers should have their own transportation, be able to lift a bag of groceries, and be able to climb a set of stairs. For more info, contact Molly HERE!

Director Spotlight: Gina Melendez, Hudson Lock LLC
The Chamber is excited to welcome Gina Melendez to its Board of Directors. Gina is the President of Hudson Lock, LCC, located on Apsley St. in Hudson. Hudson Lock has been part of the Hudson landscape since 1963 and is a leading international supplier of security products including a large array of lock and key products, locksmith tools, key machines, key storage units, wall safes, and car opening kits. Additionally, Hudson Lock manufactures a smattering of furniture hardware and casters.
An engineer by trade, Gina has extensive operations and continuous improvement experience. Her management style prioritizes culture, employee engagement, and training systems to ensure sustainable results. Gina strives to make meaningful connections between her team and their business mission, in turn, empowering her associates to make decisions that consistently drive bottom line results.
