Proposed Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone Update

The City Council will soon be considering whether to rezone and approve General Plan amendments to the former Clorox Campus on Johnson Drive and surrounding parcels and whether to create an "Economic Development Zone" on twelve parcels in the 40-acre area. A Joint Workshop with the City Council and Planning Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Boulevard.

Chamber members had the opportunity to learn about Pleasanton's American Legion Post 237  and the role it plays in our community at February's mixer at the Veteran's Memorial Building downtown. Mixer attendees also had the chance to support the construction of  Pleasanton's Veterans Memorial project scheduled for completion in November 2016. You can find out more online at PleasantonVeteransMemorial.com.
