New Creative Programs Support Local Business Community
I urge you to consider taking advantage of three creative programs that support our local businesses. Visit Tri-Valley recently launched a program called “To Pleasanton with Love." This program asks you to make a PROMISE to spend $25 a week at locally owned businesses and receive great deals and prizes. Just sign up for your free pass here to start sharing your love.

The City just introduced a Community eGift Card program to unite local businesses and consumers. Gift Pleasanton eGift Cards will be available today, June 1, and can be purchased here. Local businesses interested in participating can sign up here. Consumers will be able to purchase Gift Pleasanton eGift cards for gifts or to use for themselves, and companies can purchase as employee awards, gifts and more – this keeps spending local and benefits our shops and restaurants in Pleasanton.

The final program is in partnership with the Fairgrounds and Trio Rewards. Trio is a touchless payment system the fair will be using this year for all purchases online and in-person. Trio also offers touchless payments for participating businesses. For those that use the app, you earn credits and get paid when you share the app with your friends. To sign up your business, click here. For consumers, go to the app store on your phone and sign up.
We are the Pleasanton Chamber - Celebrating 75 Years
The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2021 and will be commemorating the occasion with a variety of captivating stories, news articles, and reflections from community leaders.

"When I finally had the honor of chairing the Chamber's Board of Directors, I was struck with a very strong sense of 'standing on the backs of giants.' While somewhat daunting, I was also decidedly comforted by the idea that I was taking part in something that was bigger than myself. This spirit of participation in a collective effort has been one of the most rewarding parts of being a Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce member all these years. Happy Birthday Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. I am proud to have been with you through much of your seventy-five years and look forward to many more to come!"

Lucky California
Lucky California’s Pleasanton Flagship Store. A ribbon cutting ceremony and a weekend of events celebrated Lucky California’s newly remodeled flagship store and innovation lab, located at 6155 W. Las Positas Blvd. in Pleasanton. Extensively remodeled and rebranded from Lucky to Lucky California, the neighborhood grocery store is conveniently located and is proudly a traditional grocery plus offering an amazing assortment of local and diverse flavors, representing the best of the Bay Area, all at the low prices that Pleasanton residents expect and deserve.
Ribbon Cuttings increase the visibility of a grand opening, new location, ground breaking or special anniversary by involving the Chamber. We'll bring the giant scissors and the red ribbon, invite our Ambassadors and honor the event with a picture and brief write-up in our bi-monthly newsletter. To schedule a ribbon cutting for your business, contact Dawn Wilson at [email protected].
Welcome to the Chamber's New Members
Studies show consumers prefer to do business with Chamber members by a margin of 2-to-1 over non-members. We recommend that you look to Chamber members for your business and consumer needs. You can access our online member directory here. Congratulations to the following new members that have recently joined the Chamber.
Tri-Valley’s Transitioning Businesses Need IT Support More than Ever
Supporting Tri-Valley businesses with IT services today has taken on a whole new meaning as employees work from home, are transitioning back to their offices, or are relying on a hybrid workplace model. Trio: Better together. So many ways to be rewarded
Trio is a community-based rewards program in partnership with the Alameda County Fair to bring economic lift to the community. The Alameda County Fair has contracted with Trio to bring ticketing, contactless payments, and community rewards to the fairgrounds. Each fair guest will earn rewards for attending fairground events and those rewards are redeemable at any participating local business. Local businesses benefit by getting new customers and also have access to the same technology with no signup fees or contracts. Visit Trio online here to learn more.
Bringing family to those in need of a home
A generous donor has partnered with the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce to provide a monthly contribution to a small business. The anonymous donation has been named The 214 Gift, and each month, a different Chamber member will be presented with a check.

The 214 Gift for May was presented to Goodness Village, and Executive Director Kim Curtis accepted at their ribbon cutting ceremony.
