80 Years. Built Together.
When I think about the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce turning 80, I don’t just think about the number. I think about the stories.
One of my favorite things about being part of this community is hearing the stories of how Pleasanton came to be. I love learning about how Hacienda Business Park was built, or how Pleasanton hops once made their way around the world. I often find myself thinking, I wish I could have been here to see that.
For 80 years, countless business owners, volunteers, community leaders and members have helped write the story of Pleasanton. They opened doors, created jobs, took chances, rolled up their sleeves, built relationships and invested in this community. They were in the room when important decisions were made. They were there when new ideas became reality. The Chamber has been fortunate to be part of so many of those moments along the way.
